The Pamola Motor Lodge in Millinocket, ME is located off Exit 244 on Interstate 95 at the foothills of Mt. Katahdin. The hotel has 29 rooms including 3 efficiency apartments each with kitchenettes. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, free continental breakfast, cable TV, A/C, WiFi and game room. There is a very successful full-service sports bar in the lodge. Also included is a restaurant which is leased to a chinese restaurant specializing in Hunan Szechuan and Cantonese. The property is located within close proximity to popular Baxter State Park (home to Mt. Katadhin, the largest peak in the State of Maine) where guests can enjoy snowmobiling (ITS 86 trail directly behind the property), hunting, fishing, hiking, lakes and much more. The Pamola is owned by very good clients of our firm. B & C Manangement Inc. is a small regional hotel company that has been in the process of expanding the company and recently purchased a 60-room Super 8 motel from us. They are continuing to expand and are looking to sell the Pamola in order to purchase some larger properties in other areas of New England through the use of a 1031 tax deferred exchange. The Pamola is an excellent owner operator property and is located in one of the most beautiful areas of the state of Maine.
