Happy Spring 2010!

We have been very busy over the past few weeks! Our web site is experiencing heavy traffic and many of you who were previously registered have signed in again.

We are now optimistically seeing improvement in the New England hotel marketplace. It looks as if we are seeing the end of the hotel revenue slide and a fair number of properties are seeing year over year increases. This really had to happen before we could see a good increase in the transaction market. Buyers were having a tough time determining their value as they were concerned as to when we would see the end of the revenue drop.

Now that appears to be over and buyers, lenders and appraisers will have an easier time identifying values which means there will be more transactions. We are currently negotiating some very good buying opportunities and expect to see more activity in 2010.
